- Effective September 3, 2022, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will welcome unvaccinated guests, who must complete a COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test and receive a negative result 3 days prior to embarkation, subject to local regulations.
- There are a small number of cruises – currently sailings starting from a port in Canada, Greece or the United States – which as per local regulations will still require guests to produce evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within a specified timeframe at embarkation.

Voyages through September 2, 2022: All guests and crew must be fully vaccinated, at least 2 weeks prior to embarkation, in order to board.
- Guest will need to provide proof of vaccination as provided to them at the time of their vacation.
- Regent’s protocols and requirements will evolve to follow the science to make determinations on required as we get closer to sailing dates.

- Unvaccinated travelers may embark with a negative COVID-19 antigen or PCR test taken within 3 days prior to embarkation.
- Testing and vaccination requirements will differ for guests traveling on voyages departing from destinations with specific local health regulations, including but not limited to the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada and Greece. These requirements will be highlighted to guests approximately 30-days prior to sailing.
Regardless of sailing date, for all sailings which include a Mediterranean port, per the EU Healthy Gateway’s current definition of “Fully Vaccinated”, any guest whose primary COVID-19 vaccination will be beyond 270 days at the time of disembarkation from their voyage must either:
- Have a COVID-19 “booster” prior to embarkation, OR;
- Present a government recognized or official medical Certificate of Recovery which proves a person has had a COVID-19 infection less than six months before disembarkation.
- Acceptable certificates include:
- For European Citizens, an EU Green Pass or comparable certificate.
- For all other guests unable to present an EU Green Pass, a doctor’s note PLUS a laboratory confirmed PCR test result with the proper information displayed (i.e. Name, Date, Date of Birth, Positive Result, Country of test, Certificate issuer, Date of Certificate Expiration).

We do not collect vaccination cards or store proof of vaccination. Those cruise lines that have vaccine requirements to cruise will likely ask for proof at the time of boarding.
Do I need a Booster Vaccine to travel on a Regent Cruise?
- Guests should ensure they receive their “booster” prior to travelling to the ship, or have an accepted Certificate of Recovery, or you will be unable to board.
- The “booster” is considered to be effective immediately, so it may be administered as late as the day of embarkation, though we strongly advise to have it completed before in advance of your travels.

Do I need to wear a mask?
The health and safety of our guests, crew and communities we visit is our number one priority. At this time, face coverings are required for all crew and we require that guests, and will continue to be updated as protocols evolve and change.
- Wear face coverings onboard while indoors, except when actively eating or drinking or when in their suite.
- Wear face coverings whenever a crewmember is present in their suite.
- Wear face coverings outdoors when social distancing is not possible.
- Adhere to local regulations when visiting ports of call.
- Our face covering policy is mandatory and will be strictly enforced.
Can I explore on my own while in port?
Delivering the best experience for guests is always a top priority, and after working closely with destination partners, Regent anticipates that guests will be free to explore certain ports of call on their own. Please keep in mind that this is largely dependent on the local health authorities and the evolving regulations, which are subject to change.
It is highly recommend to take company organized shore excursions as a more controlled environment for you to enjoy your time in each of the destinations.
These restrictions are under the control of local government and are subject to change without advance notice, so we encourage guests to come prepared for potential mask requirements ashore.
